Frequently Asked Questions about Escape Rooms

What time should we arrive? Ideally, arrive 10 minutes before the game starts. This gives you time to settle in, and we'll introduce you to the story. If you're late, you'll cut into your own time. Games are scheduled for specific times, and out of respect for players coming after you, we cannot adjust the time slot.

I need to change my reservation. What should I do? For reservation changes, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance via the provided email or phone number. You can find all contact details here.

What should I wear? Wear something comfortable. You will be moving around and searching for clues throughout the room. Keep in mind that escape rooms are often in underground spaces, so even in summer, you might want to wear long sleeves.

Can foreigners play? Yes, we offer games in both Czech and English. You can select the language during the reservation process.

Why is the number of players limited? Most games are designed for 2 to 6 players. This is to prevent overcrowding, which can hinder rather than help. If your group is large, split into two teams or take advantage of our teambuilding escape games.

Are escape rooms suitable for children? If you're looking for escape rooms for children, choose Jungle or Ogre. For other games, the recommended age is 15 and up. Chamber of Sins is for players 18 and older.

Do you have wheelchair access? Unfortunately, our escape rooms are in underground spaces, and wheelchair access is not available.

Where can we park?

If you're coming by car, use the paid parking zones directly in front of the building. The good news is, parking is free on weekends.

A Few Useful Tips for Escape Rooms Search Everywhere

Clues can be hidden anywhere. Check the back of pictures, under tablecloths, inside cups, or under carpets. Look for double bottoms and false bricks. Examine every item from the top, bottom, inside, outside, and turn it inside out, then check everything again just to be sure.

Everything Has a Purpose

Assume that every item in the room serves a purpose. Even seemingly minor details, like drawings or engravings, can be crucial for progressing in the game. Don’t underestimate anything and stay attentive throughout.

Don’t Be Afraid to Ask for Hints

Each escape room is designed to be completed in approximately 60 minutes. If you get stuck, don’t hesitate to ask for a hint. This will help you experience the entire game and not waste precious minutes.

Think Outside the Box

Escape rooms have no rules, and anything can happen. Objects can serve multiple purposes, and puzzles can be solved in many ways. Generally, you can organize items not only by size but also by alphabet, color spectrum, top to bottom, or bottom to top.

Look for Symbols

To solve a puzzle, you might need multiple items. If you find matching symbols or colors on different items, it's not a coincidence. These items are connected.

Communicate with Each Other

Communication is essential for successfully completing an escape room. Share everything with your team. What lock you found, what code you need, a strange object, picture, or engraved symbol. In most escape rooms, everything in the room has a purpose, and there are very few false leads.

Don’t Use Force

Use logic to open locks. Never use brute force. If you force open mechanisms or locks, you might feel like you’ve made progress, but you’ll likely just confuse yourself. You might skip parts of the game and miss out on some experiences. Moreover, you could damage something or complicate things for the next group.

Be Patient and Think Carefully

Found an item that looks useful? Think about how to use it. Look around for matching colors, shapes, or symbols. What else do you need to move forward? Don’t act hastily, but discuss ideas out loud. Creative group thinking is crucial in escape rooms.

Use Pen and Paper

Most escape rooms provide a pen and paper. Use them. Record each solved code and cross it off once used. This way, you won’t forget any code you found at the beginning of the game but haven’t used yet.

(Almost) Everything is Single-Use

Rarely will you use an item more than once. If you’re stuck, focus on items you haven’t used yet. Keep keys and codes you’ve already used separate.

Use Mechanical Locks Correctly

Convinced you’re entering the correct code but the lock won’t open? Try aligning the dials again. Be mindful of the code’s orientation. Jiggle the silver loop or lightly press it. If it still doesn’t open, you probably have the wrong code.
